Bio:

Hala Ibrahim, Director, Business Intelligence, Research and Analytics Division, Canada Revenue Agency

Mrs. Hala Ibrahim holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, a Master’s in Project Management and is a Certified Public Accountant.

She has 26 years’ experience in the CRA, with extensive program knowledge and an insightful perspective of business needs, business intelligence (BI), and advanced applied analytics (AAA).

In the last 6 years, she has been a driving force in impactful strategic business transformations, in embedding a progressive culture and applying BI/AAA to enhance tax compliance operations. She has earned her Division a reputation of being leaders in this field, within the CRA and beyond, which has been acknowledged through multiple awards.

She is the recipient of the Association of Professional Executives of the Public Service of Canada prestigious “2019 APEX Award for Innovation Excellence.”
