Bio:

Melanie Krause was appointed Assistant Inspector General (AIG), Office of Management & Administration (OMA), in VA’s Office of Inspector General (OIG) in January 2018. She also served as the Acting AIG from July 2017 – January 2018. In this capacity, she is responsible for providing comprehensive services throughout VA OIG, including operational planning, reporting, and follow-up; internal control oversight; training coordination; budgetary formulation and execution; space planning and facilities management; human resources management; information technology and data analysis; and the oversight and operations of VA OIG’s nationwide toll-free Hotline
